<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a resin leakage and maintain accuracy of mounting reference in a reference part. <P>SOLUTION: The laser device comprises a laser element 20, a lead 2 in which the laser element is arranged, and a resin frame 24 for protecting the element 20. The lead comprises: references parts 10 and 11, which serve as mounting reference, to the right and left front parts thereof; and projection parts 5 and 6, which project farther front than the references parts, between right and left references parts, wherein the right and left front ends of the resin frame are located on the projection parts.
