PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating/heat insulating pipe inexpensively, without enlarging the outside diameter, and applicable for a complicated pipe layout. SOLUTION: A cord heater 11 is inserted in a conduit 10 to transfer gas or liquid. A pipe joint 2 is connected to the end of the conduit 10 to transfer gas or liquid. The cord heater 11 is inserted in the conduit 10 and the pipe joint 2 connected thereto is inserted. The part in which a lead wire 3 to transmit power to the cord heater 11 is extracted from the pipe joint 2 is subjected to sealing treatment with non-conductive substance so as not to leak gas or liquid.
