摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an electro-optical device which hardly causes defective display or the like even in the case a film thickness of a pixel pattern becomes uneven. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method includes a process in which a first barrier rib part 112a equipped with a first opening part 112c and a second barrier rib part 112b equipped with a second opening part 112d are formed on a plate board 2, and a process in which an electro-optical layer 110 is formed by a droplet discharging method against an opening part 112g constituted of respective opening parts 112c, 112d formed by the respective barrier rib parts 112a, 112b. In the forming process of the barrier rib parts, the first barrier rib part 112a is formed to be protruded from an opening inner face of the second barrier rib part 112b, and furthermore, in one opening part 112g, the barrier rib part is formed so that a protruding amount of the first barrier rib part 112a formed on the outside of the plate board in the plane view of the opening part 112g is made to be larger than that of the first barrier rib part 112a formed on the inside.
