PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a decrease of the image quality because of such a discharging defect that makes an ink striking position different for every discharge opening even if the discharging defect is brought about although paper face spare discharging is carried out in an inkjet recorder. SOLUTION: Ink discharging is carried out first from the discharge opening #0. Discharging is carried out while the order moves to the adjacent discharge opening sequentially afterwards. Finally, discharging is carried out from the discharge opening #639. When recording is started after the paper face spare discharging of this cycle, even if the discharging defect is brought about, the ink striking position is shifted in accordance with the order. In other words, the shift of the striking position becomes continuous to a discharge opening arrangement, so that the shift is made less noticeable in a recording image.
