PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multifunction integrated multimedia reproducing apparatus having a plurality of multimedia recording and reproducing functions by one apparatus and capable of coping with desires of recording and reproduction of multimedia of a user. SOLUTION: According to this invention, at least a digital photograph browser function, a video reproduction function, a sound signal reproduction function, an image/sound signal recording function, a navigation function and a television receiving function are included, and various multimedia functions are provided to the user as for browsing of digital photographs, reproduction of image and sound programs, reproduction of music and sound programs, recording of image/sound signals, acquisition of geographical information, and reception of cable/radio television. The functions are further extended by connecting, for example, a CD/DVD-RW instrument, a long distance communication system, a printer, a storage device, a digital camera, a navigation system, a television tuner, a personal computer platform, etc. to a connection interface externally attached to various external media processors.
