PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat for a vehicle which controls the amount of protrusion of an inner side support leg part at the time of fold-up storage, can control the amount of protrusion of the inner side support leg part at the time of fold-up storage as much as possible, thus can fully exploit the effective use of a vehicle room. SOLUTION: A seat cushion 2 can be housed by being flipped up to the wall part side within the vehicle room through a pivot 5a of an outer side support leg part 5 in a state that the inner side support leg part 8 is folded on the undersurface side of the seat cushion. Then the seat cushion 2 can be slid in the forward and backward directions through outer and inner side slide rails 3, 4. The inner side support leg part 8 is offset (the amount of offset A) to the center of the seat cushion 2 against the inner side slide rail 4, and is attached at the height position which is a nearly equal level, having a rotation center 20 at the time of folding. The inner side support leg part 8 is rotated on its rotation center 20, thus can be folded on the undersurface side of the seat cushion 2 so that it is positioned at the level nearly equal to the inner side slide rail 4.
