PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press working line where idle presses do not exist and productivity is satisfactory. SOLUTION: As for the press working line 1, in the prestage, a part of presses 11 to 13 are arranged in a line, and, in the poststage, the remaining press 14 is arranged in such a manner that its line is shifted from the third press 13 arranged at the tail end of the prestage. By this press working line 1, since the press 14 in the poststage is arranged in such a manner that its line is shifted from the press in the prestage for preventing the check on the press working by the work requiring no pressing stage by the press in the poststage, the working efficiency and productivity of the press working line as a whole are satisfactory. Further, even in the case the number of presses used for press working is reduced at the time when application is altered, and, in the case the pressing stage in the future is made intensive, and the number of presses to be required is reduced, the press 14 arranged in the poststage of the press working line 1 can be made independent, thus idle presses do not exist.
