At least two types of liquids containing reaction reagents are fed by means of a micropump so as to converge in minute flow channel (4), in which diffusion and mixing of the liquids are carried out. Thereafter, the liquids are charged in liquid reservoir of large width (5) disposed at an end understream of the minute flow channel (4), and reaction is carried out in the liquid reservoir (5). Further, a confluent of liquids may be circulated through a looped minute flow channel, and the confluent may be moved back and forth in the minute flow channel. Still further, in a gene amplification reaction, a reagent is slowly charged, while advancingthe amplification reaction, through a flow channel branched from a minute flow channel for feeding of a test substance into the minute flow channel.
