<p>A transmission device (1) is described which comprises at least a first endwall (3) and a second endwall (4) which are arranged substantially parallel with one another, and a mainshaft (8, 10). The transmission device (1, 101, 201) has a casing (2, 102, 202) with an inside surface and an outside surface each arrived at by parallel movement of a straight line along a curve in space, with the endwalls (3, 4, 103, 104, 203, 204) arranged each on their respective side of the casing (2, 102, 202) and at least one fastening means (19, 22, 45, 46) arranged to exert upon the distal surfaces of the endwalls (3, 4, 103, 104, 203, 204) a force against one another inwards towards the casing (2, 102, 202). A method for manufacture of such a transmission device (1, 101, 201) is also described.</p> |
