<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bathroom unit preventing hot water or water from being retained on the upper surface of a rim part between a wall panel and a bathtub, even if the bathtub having the upper surface of the rim part, which is gradually lowered toward the outside, is used, and preventing overflow water or washing water used in washing the bathtub from flowing into a bathtub pan. <P>SOLUTION: The bathroom unit has the bathtub received in a bathtub pan and a joint portion between the bathroom wall panel surrounding the bathtub and the rim of the bathtub is interposed with a joint filler. In the bathroom unit, part of the joint portion between the rim part of the bathtub and the wall panel composing the bathroom wall surface is provided with a joint filler non-filled portion, a space under the joint filler non-filled portion is provided with a water receiver for receiving hot water or water flowing into the bathtub pan side through a gap between the wall panel of the joint filler non-filled portion and the rim of the bathtub, and the water receiver is connected to a drain pipe for draining the hot water or water received therein to a drain passage other than the bathtub pan. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
