<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightening device easily being switched from a beam for normal travel to a downward beam for right-side or left-side travel or to a beam for an expressway. <P>SOLUTION: The lightening device (2) projecting light beams along a main lightening axis (6) from at least one light source (9) is provided with at least one reflector (4) and a movable shield (16) capable of rotating around frames (8, 10) and a rotational axis.
