<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of controlling so that a large size sheet is prevented from slipping off from a bundle of ejected sheets in case large size sheet(s) is ejected onto a bundle of small size sheets which have been stacked. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device has an image forming means to form image on each sheet which is then ejected, a sheet stacking means having an eject tray moving up and down, and a sheet stacking amount judging means to judge the sheet stacking amount from the position of the eject tray, and is further equipped with a sheet supply control means to stop the sheet supply when the sheet stacking amount judged by the judging means exceeds the sheet stacking capacity prescribed previously and a sheet size storing means to store the size of the sheet ejected, wherein if the sheet to be supplied has a greater size than that of the ejected sheet stored by the size storing means, the following sheet supply is stopped as long as a mixed loading sheet stack capacity is exceeded even in case the sheet stacking capacity is not filled. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
