<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint structure and its connection method capable of ensuring flexibility of a connection section between a piping connected opening and a propulsive pipe and, at the same time, simply and surely connecting the propulsive pipe from the inside of a manhole. <P>SOLUTION: The joint structure 1 is so constituted that the propulsive pipe 40 is connected to the piping connected opening 31 of the manhole 30. It is so constituted that an approximately cylindrical short pipe sleeve 2 inserted in the piping connected opening 31 from the inside of the manhole 30 is adhered thereto in a state to fit to the propulsive pipe end section 40A from the outside, the short pipe sleeve 2 is placed inside of the piping connected opening 31, at the same time, a circular sealing member 3 having flexibility is made to intervene between the short pipe sleeve 2 and the piping connected opening 31 and that the circumferential surface 4 of the short pipe sleeve 2 and the inside 31a of the piping connected opening 31 are sealed with the sealing member 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
