<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase an amount of light emitted in a right-angled direction from an apical surface 11a of an insulator 11, in a light emitting diode lamp wherein a concave 12 is formed in the apical surface 11a of the insulator 11 and a light emitting diode chip 17 is mounted on the bottom face of the concave portion and right and left internal surfaces of the concave are formed into light reflection surfaces 15 and 16. <P>SOLUTION: One of the right and left reflection surfaces 15 is formed at right angles or nearly at right angles with the apical surface, while the other reflection surface 15 is inclined with respect to the apical surface.
