PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optimum leaf switch for an elevator switch, etc. which can be thinned simultaneously with dust protection nature and reliability (performing longevity). SOLUTION: The leaf switch includes a contact operation unit 2 which operates by a switching action operation, and a switch 1 which deflects a movable piece by the operation of this contact operation unit 2 to contact the movable contact S of this movable piece with the fixed contact T of a fixed piece. The switch 1 has an insulation holder made of a mold 5 for opposing the movable piece and the fixed piece to one another and holding them. The contact operation unit 2 has a hollow shape in which the movable piece and the fixed piece are inserted in the interior.
