PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collapsible bicycle which can be folded into a long and thin simple shape, and also, is excellent in travel performance as well. SOLUTION: In this collapsible bicycle, the frame of the bicycle is constituted by combining frame tubes 1 to 4 into a parallelogram, and at the time of folding, by a shaft 1a, a shaft 4a, a flange 1b, and a flange 4b which are located at respective apexes of the parallelogram, those four frame tubes slide and rotate (Figures 7 to 9) (not shown in the figure), and the collapsible bicycle is formed into the long and thin simple shape. By forming the parallelogram frame, the twisting rigidity is increased compared with a conventional collapsible bicycle for which the frame central section is carried by one piece of a pipe, and force at the time of pedaling is made hard to escape. In addition, by devising the angles of the frame tubes 1 to 4, the degree of freedom for the position or the adjustments of parts which determine the riding posture such as a saddle, a handle, or pedals are made equivalent to that of a mountain bike.
