PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a green tire molding method capable of preventing the occurrence of bluster by sufficiently cooling an unvulcanized rubber ribbon without sacrificing an adhesive performance, and to provide a green tire cooling device used therein. SOLUTION: In at least a process from the start of the winding of the unvulcanized rubber ribbon R to the completion of the winding thereof, cooling air is continuously blown against the whole of the region specified by the width direction corresponding to the total width W of the unvulcanized rubber member 5 of the surface of a rotating green tire on the way of molding and a predetermined peripheral direction angle rangeθto cool the wound unvulcanized rubber R.
