A holder (10) includes a connecting section (18) for a dosing tip (30). A sensor arrangement (24, 26) detects correct connection between the connecting section and tip. The tip is pushed onto the connector, both having conical mating surfaces to make a frictional- or interference fit. Between connector and tip, a magnet (24), slides longitudinally, captive on the holder. During tip attachment, it is pushed towards a Hall effect sensor (26), which detects its position.
