<p>The drive control uses a central drive differential (3) and a variable drive distribution coupling (21) for delivering the drive to the front and rear wheels (14fl, 14fr, 14rl, 14rr), controlled in dependence on the estimated road adhesion characteristics of the 4-wheel drive vehicle, so that a larger drive force is delivered to the rear wheels (14rl, 14rr)when the road adhesion is less. - A road adhesion estimation device for a 4-wheel drive vehicle is independently claimed.</p> |
