<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing that does not generate a shaft slide without causing an increase in rotational resistance even if an excessive large force is applied to a shaft in the axial direction, and an ultrasonic motor. <P>SOLUTION: The bearing is composed of: the shaft 1 that constitutes a main body of a rotor 7, and comprises a plurality of go-around protrusions 11 that are protrusively arranged in a multistage go-around state; a bearing member 2 that comprises a plurality of go-around grooves 22 that are formed in a multistage go-around state so as to correspond to shapes of the plurality of go-around protrusions 11; a plurality of elastic bodies 3 that make external peripheral regions of the plurality of go-around protrusions 11 constantly elastically pressure-contact with corresponding internal peripheral regions of the plurality of go-around grooves 22; a stator 6 that excites the shaft 1 by ultrasonic mechanical vibration in a state where the shaft is imparted with constant elastic pressure-contact by the plurality of elastic bodies 3; and a vibration receiving member 12 that receives the ultrasonic mechanical vibration transmitted on a friction member 61 that is fixed on the vibration end face of the stator 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
