PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging container in which a desiccant and a content do not come in contact with each other and a dampproofing effect of the desiccant on the content is not impaired. SOLUTION: The packaging container (A) containing the desiccant is made of a dampproofing material, and comprises a content storage compartment (2) and a desiccant storage compartment (3), which are partitioned by a partition (1) having venting parts (4). The dampproofing material is of a laminated material (8) consisting of an aluminum foil core layer (5), a PP inner layer (6), and a PET outer layer (7). In forming the packaging container (A), two oblong dampproofing materials (8) are superposed, and the edges (9) of superposed two opposed long sides of the materials are fusion welded together, and a superposed part forming the partition (1) is fusion welded together with two spots forming the venting parts (4) left as they are. Then, the edges (11) of two opposed short sides are fusion welded together as the content is left in a portion forming the content storage compartment (2) and the desiccant (10) is left in a portion forming the desiccant storage compartment (3).
