PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a firmly bound mixed powder through a continuous process using an air flow type crusher in cases involving a raw material(s) for the powder which softens or melts when heated. SOLUTION: The method uses a powder A of titanium oxide and a powder B of polyethylene terephthalate as raw materials and comprises crushing the powders to fine powders (a) and (b) in a preheating atmosphere with a jet nozzle 1b of an air flow type crusher 1 spraying air 6 preheated by a heater 5, mixing, the powders with frictional electrification during crushing while preheating and heating the resultant compound powder discharged from a duct 2 after mixing to a temperature higher than the glass transition temperature of polyethylene terephthalate by the use of a high-temperature gas 8 introduced into the duct 2 to soften or melt the powder b of polyethylene terephthalate so as to bind the to-be-mixed powders (a) and (b) firmly through the adhering force due to the softened or molten form.
