PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scaler chip for removing the softened dentin in a root canal treatment part leading to above a root apex region, without injuring the root apex region of the root canal. SOLUTION: The scaler chip is characterized by the distal end of the chip whose surface is smooth without being additionally treated and diamond fine powder adhering to the root canal treatment part continued to the distal end of the chip.
