PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste culm-switching device prevented from malfunction in a type, in which a waste culm guide lever is moved up and down and rotated by connecting a connector pin of the lever to a guide hole, and when the lever is in a storing posture, the lever is often wrongly switched to a culm-discharging posture by vibration of the body, waste culm resistance, or the like, and thus maintaining of precise and stable switching of the discharge culm is unabled. SOLUTION: The structure of the waste clum switching device comprises as following: a waste culm cutter performs switching operation by connecting and guiding the connecting pin 3 over a guide hole 5 of a fixing bracket 4 and an arm hole 7 of a rotating arm 6, wherein a fixed bracket 4 is fixed on the machine body, the rotating arm 6 can perform rotating operation, and the connecting pin 3 is for switching operation of a waste culm guide lever 2 capable of switching from a culm-discharging position A to a storing position B, which culm-discharging position A is along a culm-discharging chain 1 by moving up and down and rotating, and which storing position B is for retreating downward, and, on the arm hole 7, a pin-working rim 8 is formed which rim 8 is inclined with an acute angle against a direction C of rotating arm 6 when switching to the storing position B.
