PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a host microorganism allowing improvement of productivity of a protein or a polypeptide, a recombinant microorganism obtained by transducing a gene encoding the protein or polypeptide to the host microorganism and provide a method for producing the protein or polypeptide using the recombinant microorganism. SOLUTION: The invention relates to the microorganism having delated or deactivated at least one region selected from gene region of Bacillussubtilis genome expressed by Pro1, Pro2, Pro3, Pro4, Pro5, Pro6, Pro7, PBSX, SKIN, spβ, pks, or pps and corresponding gene regions of other microorganisms excluding the Bacillussubtilis.
