METHOD FOR PRODUCING BLACK-TEA BEVERAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a black-tea beverage having excellent flavor comprising strong aroma, slightly bitter and harsh taste while having moderate concentrated feeling. SOLUTION: This method for producing the black-tea beverage comprises a process of adding 1-5 pts. wt. of 50-90°C high-temperature water to 1 pt. wt. of black-tea leaves and steaming the mixture for 30 sec to 5 minutes; and a process of adding 15-40 pts. wt of <30°C low-temperature water to the leaves steamed in the above process so as to extract the tea from the leaves at 10-30°C for 20-60 min.
