<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize a double side recording function to appropriately execute double side recording on a recording medium, even in the case that a recording job is received in a plurality of times irregularly. <P>SOLUTION: The recording apparatus comprises a control section 22 for selectively executing a single side recording for recording only on a first side of the first side and the second side of a recording medium, or double side recording for recording on both the first side and the second side. The control section 22 selectively executes a first mode for corresponding to the content of a print command to execute single side recording or double side recording and discharging all the recorded recording medium with a paper discharge means, or a second mode for executing double side recording regardless of the content of the print command to stop discharge operation with the paper discharge means when the recording on the last recording medium is completed on recording on the first side, standing by the input of a next print command. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
