<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost and weight of connection materials required for Y-branch connection, to improve workability of the branch connection, and to achieve space saving. <P>SOLUTION: An insulated cylinder 22 is a hollow resin molded component having an oval cylindrical cable inlets 23 at one-inlet side and round cylindrical cable inlets 24, 25 at two-inlet side. Spacers 35, 36, 37 are temporarily inserted on each of power cables 31, 32, 33. Connection terminals 45, 46, 47 are connected to each of the cable conductors 31a, 32a, 33a. The power cables 31, 32 at the two-inlet side are temporarily inserted into the cable inlets 24, 25 at the two-inlet side of the insulated cylinder 22. The connection terminals 45, 46, 47 at both sides are connected to each other. The insulated cylinder 22 is made to slide and return to the one-inlet side to fit each spacer 35, 36, 37 into the respective cable inlets 23, 24, 25.
