PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform installation adjustment of a projector, without requiring a device of adjustment such as an image processor and a special signal for adjustment. SOLUTION: When installation adjustment is performed by arranging a plurality of projectors to the left and the right, the left and the right of an image stored in an image memory in screens for installation adjustment to be projected and displayed on screens are replaced in each of the plurality of projectors and an image is read from the image memory so that each of left and right picture ends to be a part, where the pictures of each projector overlap becomes the identical image. At this state, the projectors are arranged in left and right, projected, displayed and the installation adjustment of the projectors is performed so that an image in an area A2 at the right end of the picture projected from a left projector matches the image of an area A1 at the left and of the screen projected from a right projector.
