PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processing device transmitting information required for data processing to the other data processing device so as not to leak classified information included in information required for data processing performed by the data processing device. SOLUTION: A data processing device 1 can transmit information required for processing of data such as transmitting destination information indicating a transmitting destination of data by facsimile communication or the like to the other data processing device 1, and determines whether or not the transmission of the information is permitted depending on the presence and absence of a data protection function of the other data processing device 1 which becomes the transmitting destination of the information or the strength of the data protection function. Also, the data processing device 1 selects the content of information transmitted according to the content of a function obtained by the other data processing device 1 which becomes the transmitting destination of the information.
