PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network diagnosis apparatus simply controlling network diagnosis . SOLUTION: The network diagnosis apparatus comprises: a plurality of electronic control devices 1 to 6; a communication line 8 for mutually connecting respective electronic control devices 1 to 6; a fault diagnosis device connecting connector 7 for connecting a fault diagnosis device; and an exclusive diagnosis-line 9 for connecting the fault diagnosis device connecting connector 7 to respective electronic control devices 1 to 6. Each of electronic control devices 1 to 6 comprises: a slave unit mechanism part 18 provided with an inquiry signal generation part 20 for transmitting inquiry signals to other electronic control devices 1 to 6; a master unit mechanism part 14 provided with an inquiry signal judgment part 16 for judging the existing of incoming of inquiry signals transmitted from other electronic control devices 1 to 6; and a master/slave switching part 13 for switching the master unit mechanism part 14 and the slave unit mechanism part 18.
