PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Bluetooth (R) communication apparatus capable of freely revising kinds of communication connection functions and communication data as required and coping with a plurality of kinds of Bluetooth (R) apparatuses with one apparatus and to provide a function addition / revision system thereof. SOLUTION: The Bluetooth (R) communication apparatus 11 is configured to include: a hardware share part 31; a hardware individual part 32; a software share part 33; and a software individual part 34 stored in a memory included in the hardware share part; an HW recognition section 51 for recognizing mount contents of the software individual part; a transmission / reception section 54 for transmitting information related to the mount contents recognized by the HW recognition section to an external download control unit 12; and a mount contents management section 53 for receiving a program file transmitted from the download control unit and carrying out addition or revision to the mount contents of the software individual part.
