PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing high-density arrays of target substances. SOLUTION: The method for producing high-density arrays of target substances includes a process for cutting a bundle of target strands. The target strands here include the target substances. Here a plurality of high-density arrays are acquired as a result of cutting. The method can include additional processes such as a process for stabilizing the target strands or the bundle; a process for capturing one additional substance or more in the high-density arrays, and a process for interrogating the high-density arrays.
