PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit for monitoring signal waveform capable of being applied to waveform monitor of high-speed signal, with a small-scale circuit configuration. SOLUTION: A determination circuit (12) determines in turn the sign of input signals to be objects of the waveform monitor. A holding circuit (14) outputs a determined value from the determination circuit (12), after holding until at least the determination circuit (12) performs next determination motion. A sample hold circuit (16) samples input signals in turn. A first sign inverting circuit (18) inverts or does not invert the sign of the sample value from the sample hold circuit (16), according to the determination value from the holding circuit (14) and outputs. A monitoring result output circuit (C1, C2) adds the output value of the first sign inverting circuit (18) and outputs the added value as a monitoring result. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
