PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the effect of measures against a heat island phenomenon by enabling a wet state effective for suppression of a rise in temperature to be uniformly acquired by the whole of even an inclined or uneven paved surface, in a wettable pavement system aiming at the measures against the heat island phenomenon. SOLUTION: In this wettable pavement system, the water supply pipe 20 is laid in a piping groove 12 which is formed on a base 10 to be paved, and water, which is supplied in a distributed manner from the water supply pipe 20, is diffused in a surface direction by water-conveyance sheets 21 and 22, so that a surface of a pavement 30 can be kept in a wet state.
