PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cluster mill, which is easily cleaned by largely expanding the gap between intermediate-roll journal boxes with a simple structure. SOLUTION: The cluster mill is, on each side of its upper and lower sides, provided with: a work roll 2 pressing and reducing a plate to be rolled; a pair of intermediate rolls provided behind the work roll 2; a pair of back-up rolls 5 provided behind the pair of intermediate rolls; intermediate-roll journal boxes 11, which are provided at both end parts of the intermediate roll and pivotably support the intermediate rolls; and back-up roll journal boxes 12, which are provided at both end parts of the back-up rolls and pivotably support the back-up roll. Further, the cluster mill is provided with: joining means 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 capable of making a joining/non-joining state between the intermediate-roll journal boxes in the upper side and the back-up roll journal boxes in the upper side; and a hydraulic cylinder device 17 adjusting the distance between the back-up roll journal boxes 12 in the upper part and the back-up roll journal boxes 12 in the lower part.
