PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new apparent line piece having a reflecting function, suitable as a linear member provided in a boundary part between the bottom of footwear and an upper part thereof. SOLUTION: This apparent line piece is formed so that a line piece 3 as a core material is wrapped with a tape-like cloth material 5 having a reflecting function to perform retroreflection. In this case, a thin stick, the reflection surface side of which is protruded, is used as the line piece 3. On the other hand, as the cloth material 5, a tape-like material in which at least a part corresponding to the outer peripheral surface of the line piece 3 is provided with a light reflecting function. In fitting the apparent line piece to a boundary part between two members, the cloth material 5 is taken as a bonding margin to two joint members and interposed between both members.
