The method involves mixing good quality wooden splinters made from spruce, Douglas fir, beech or larch wood with inorganic binder and additives and water. The binder used consists of cement or gypsum. The binder-mixed splinters are laminated in longitudinal or transverse direction parallel to the plate surface and dried to form the laminated plate.
