A method for preventing the removable user identifies module card from using in the different type of terminal device. This method can modify the EF-UIM ID value of the R-UIM of this type of terminal device such that the corresponding user information differs from the user information type selected when the network side authenticates the terminal. Said terminal device side uses the user information type selected when the network side authenticates the terminal to process the authentication, so as to solve the conditions about the embezzlement to the public-phone number resource skillfully. i.e. it is impossible to achieve the normal telecommunication service due to have been not authenticated via communication network when using the R-UIM card of the pubic-phone on the handset. Simultaneity, it is possible to assure the benefit of the provider, and maintain the normal charging system of the provider without the addition for any hardware devices or any modification to the software. Usage the R-UIM of the handset to the wireless pubic-phone can also be avoided according to the method proposed in the invention.
