<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver and a transmitter corresponding to both of MIMO and multicarrier. <P>SOLUTION: Each of conversion means 1-1 to 1-3 receives a reception signal from a corresponding antenna and converts the frequency of the received signal into a signal of base frequency. Each of generation means 3-1 to 3-3 generates a local oscillation signal to be used for converting the frequency of the received signal. Each of determination means 2, 4-1, 4-3 determines whether the received signal includes a plurality of signals having respectively different center frequencies or includes a plurality of signals having the same center frequency. At the time of determining that the received signal includes the plurality of signals having respectively different center frequencies, a setting means 5 sets respective frequencies of local oscillation signals generated by respective generation means correspondingly to these different center frequencies, and at the time of determining that the received signal includes the plurality of signals having the same center frequency, operates any one of the generation means 3-1 to 3-2 and sets the frequency of a local oscillation signal generated by the operated generation means correspondingly to the same center frequency. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
