<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a treatment cost by suppressing energy required to heat an anaerobic digestion tank low without losing an anaerobic digestion efficiency in the anaerobic digestion tank in a method for carrying out anaerobic digestion of organic sludge in the anaerobic digestion tank. <P>SOLUTION: The water temperature of the anaerobic digestion tank 1 is controlled between T<SB>max</SB>=35°C and T<SB>min</SB>=20 to 30°C.
