PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air-conditioner with an indoor unit having a ventilating duct in the reverse face for allowing easy combining work for refrigerant pipes when installed, securing a ventilation amount with less air resistance, and giving proper treatment to condensed water in the ventilating duct to actualize continuous operation without any trouble even when outside air is introduced during cooling operation. SOLUTION: The height of a laterally elongated storage chamber on the side of a ventilating device is greater than the height of the laterally elongated storage chamber on the side of a piping chamber to allow easy bending work for the connected refrigerant pipes when installed. The ventilating duct is installed in the state that its portion intersecting the reverse face of the air-conditioner monotonously downslopes toward outside air, thus reducing the length of a ventilation passage and producing less air resistance because the bending angle of the ventilating duct is made smaller than conventional one during lateral or downward piping.
