PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit breaker dispensing with exclusive switching operation members, sharing components, and reducing management operations of parts, and at the same time, capable of easily replacing the circuit breaker with an auxiliary switch to the circuit breaker with an alarm switch if needed, in the case that two kinds of circuit breakers either with the alarm switch or with the auxiliary switch are provided. SOLUTION: The circuit breaker is provided with a linking member following an operation of a switching mechanism of the circuit breaker, and an alarm or an auxiliary switching member outputting contact signals driven by the operation of the linking member. The linking member is structured of a first contact part in contact with a mechanical part at the time of a switching operation by a operation of a handle member, and a second contact part in contact with the mechanical part at the time of an opening operation caused by over-current.
