PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit a remote control signal for an electric apparatus by automatically selecting the electric apparatus by a remote control device even though the electric apparatus is not equipped with a special equipment. SOLUTION: The remote control device has: a function to radio-transmit remote control data corresponding to a region on a touch panel according to the operation of the region, a memory to keep the region on the touch panel for room positions of each electric apparatus 51, 52 and 53, the remote control data, and each remote control data to be corresponded; detecting means 31, 32, 33 and 20 each detecting a room position of the remote control device 10; a detecting means for detecting the direction of the remote control device 10; a means for specifying the electric apparatus 51 designated by the remote control device 10 based on the room position of each electric apparatus and the room position and the direction of the remote control device 10; and a means for making the remote control data of the specified electric apparatus correspond to the region on the touch panel.
