PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article sorting and delivering device capable of sorting articles to be carried with high reliability without receiving limitation over the whole length of a circulation carrying passage. SOLUTION: One of a plurality of carrying baskets has a marker, and a plurality of detecting sensors for detecting the marker are arranged along the circulation carrying passage, and the circulation carrying passage is divided into a plurality of zones in response to the number of the detecting sensor.
