PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a housing case which further increases usability or display property while making the best of advantages (the consideration to the environment, a low manufacturing cost, weight reduction, and also, ease in printing or processing and so forth) of a conventional compact disk of which the main material is paper, and applies a mental impact to a person who picks up the case; and to provide a manufacturing method for the housing case. SOLUTION: This housing case is constituted by providing first and second page sheets 1 and 2 which are openably/closably connected through a folding section 3, a housing section 4 which is bonded to the first and second page sheets, and a supporting body 461 which is connected with the housing section and on which a body 7 to be supported is mounted and pops-up from the housing section by opening the page sheets from a closed state. The supporting body is constituted in such a manner that a pasting piece 41, a housing wall piece 42, a connecting piece 43, a pasting piece 44, a folding back piece 45 and a plate-like information storage medium supporting piece 46 are connected through a folding line L41-42 for folding up into a ridge or folding down into a valley, a folding line L42-43 for folding up into a ridge, a folding line L43-44 for folding up into a ridge or a folding down into a valley, a folding line L42-45 for folding up into a ridge, a folding line 45-46 for folding down into a valley, and a folding line L43-46 for folding up into a ridge, and at the same time, the folding line L42-45 and the folding line 45-46 cross at approximate 45°.
