The invention relates to means for colouring keratin-containing fibres, in particular, human hair, comprising selected acetonitrile derivatives of formula (I), where Het = optionally-substituted heteroaromatics and X<1> = a direct bond or carbonyl, in combination with active carbonyl compounds, the use of said combinations in means of colouring keratin-containing fibres, for retouching or adding nuances to already coloured keratin-containing fibres and a method for colouring keratin-containing fibres, in particular, human hair.
