<p>The waste mill comprises a container in which is provided a cutting mechanism with a cutting grate with several transverse blocks in its front half and a cover plate in its rear half. The cutting grate has slide rails on both sides, and turning blades of hardened steel with four sharp cutting edges are fastened by countersunk screws in the transverse blocks. The transverse blocks have bevels on their leading edges to form a natural resistance so that round objects cannot slide off but are chopped or crushed.</p> |
