The invention relates to radioelectronic and computer engineering and to information processing and control systems. The inventive method consists in inputting two comparable data, in carrying out a first operation for summing up the instantaneous values of input quantities, in carrying out a first operation for mutually subtracting instantaneous values of the input quantities, in selecting the absolute values of the results of addition and subtraction of the values of the input quantities, whose output of results represent the third and fourth finite operations of the inventive method, in carrying out a second operation for adding the absolute values of the addition and subtraction results of the instantaneous values of the input quantities whose output result represents a first finite operation, in carrying out a second operation for subtracting the absolute values of the addition and subtraction of the instantaneous values of the input quantities whose output result represents a second finite operation. The introduction of two additional output operations makes it possible to extend the functional capabilities of information processing and to represent a functionally complete set of logic operations, including additional operations.
