Disclosed is a method for producing ethers which is characterized in that a telomerization reaction of a conjugated diene compound in the presence of a hydroxyl compound represented by the following general formula (I): R<1>OH, is firstly performed in the presence of a palladium compound, a tertiary isocyanide compound represented by the following general formula (II): R<2>NC and a basic substance, and then continuously performed after being added with a tertiary phosphine compound represented by the following general formula (III): PR<3>R<4>R<5>.
